Job Description

Job Scope:

Responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting activities within an organization and managing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Job Description: 

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments, to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to support annual audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and human resources, to support cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, and ensure that the organization's accounting practices remain in compliance.
  • Participate in the implementation or enhancement of accounting systems and software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.Proven experience (10+ years) in accounting, with at least 5 years in managerial position.FMCG or Manufacturing background is must.  Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle, SAP, or other enterprise-level platforms is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
