The Accounts Manager is responsible for leading and managing all the company’s accounting and financial operations. They ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and applicable legal requirements, thereby supporting the company’s e-commerce business.
Additionally, the role involves leading financial closing processes, managing the general ledger and account reconciliations, and developing financial policies and procedures. The manager oversees accounting functions related to e-sales, payment gateways, inventory, and returns, as well as ERP system integration. They also collaborate with e-commerce and marketing departments to analyze financial performance and link commercial and marketing KPIs to financial results, supporting informed decision-making and driving growth and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting department, overseeing team performance and development.
Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Oversee the General Ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries.
Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and prepare related reports.
Prepare periodic financial statements, analyze business results, and present findings to executive management.
Develop and update accounting policies and procedures in accordance with best practices.
Design and implement an effective internal control system to safeguard company assets.
Coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting teams to ensure operational quality.
Lead external audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.
