Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financial Functional Consultant with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12) and Oracle Fusion Financials. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Tax, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end financial business processes. The role typically involves requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, and support Oracle Financial modules:General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management (CM) Tax
Gather business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis. Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Configure Oracle Financials based on business needs and best practices. Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), BRDs, and process documentation. Support end-to-end implementation, upgrades, and Oracle EBS to Fusion migration projects. Work closely with technical consultants on reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and integrations (RICE/RICEW objects). Support data migration, reconciliation, and period-end closing activities. Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment. Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support. Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal financial controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Financial Functional Consultant. Strong hands-on experience with:Oracle E-Business Suite R12Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Proven expertise in:GLAPARFACMTax Strong understanding of financial business cycles:Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Financial implementations. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience in data migration and reconciliation. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact effectively with finance stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Subledger Accounting (SLA). Knowledge of VAT/GST or regional tax configurations. Oracle certifications in EBS or Oracle Fusion Financials are an advantage.
