Senior SEO Content Writer Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time
Fans Pass is a Saudi-based ticketing marketplace for sports and entertainment across the MENA region. We connect fans with access to major sporting events, concerts, and live experiences locally and internationally. We’re looking for a Senior SEO Content Writer to join our growing team and create high-quality, search-optimised content across our digital platforms. This is a full-time, hands-on writing role for someone with at least 5 years of professional writing experience, ideally within a digital newsroom, online publication, sports media platform, entertainment publication, or another fast-paced content environment. The ideal candidate is a strong and versatile writer who is comfortable producing content at volume, conducting independent keyword research, understanding search intent, and writing content that is useful to audiences and built to perform in organic search. You’ll write primarily across football, sports, concerts, entertainment, and live events, so genuine knowledge and interest in these areas is important.
What You’ll DoWrite a high volume of high-quality, SEO-optimised content across Fans Pass digital platforms. Research and write primarily about football, sports, concerts, entertainment, and live events. Conduct independent keyword research to identify relevant search opportunities and audience interests. Translate keyword insights and search intent into clear, useful, engaging content. Produce timely content around major events, announcements, trends, and audience demand. Write and improve website content, editorial articles, event-related content, and other digital copy. Optimise content using strong on-page SEO practices, including titles, headings, metadata, internal linking, and content structure. Research topics thoroughly and maintain high standards of accuracy, sourcing, fact-checking, and originality. Monitor content performance and improve existing content based on search insights and audience behaviour. Manage multiple writing assignments and deadlines while maintaining consistent quality and output. Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to support business and content priorities.
What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of professional writing experience. Proven experience in a digital newsroom, online publication, sports media platform, entertainment publication, digital publisher, or similarly high-volume content environment. Demonstrated ability to write and publish a high volume of articles consistently and under tight deadlines. Strong hands-on experience with keyword research and SEO content writing. Strong understanding of search intent and on-page SEO. Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Trends, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms. Excellent research, writing, and fact-checking skills. Ability to balance speed, volume, accuracy, readability, and SEO performance. Strong knowledge of football, including major clubs, players, leagues, tournaments, and current developments. Strong awareness of concerts, artists, entertainment, and live-event culture. Strong English writing skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time environment.
Strongly Preferred Previous experience with a news website, sports publication, football media company, entertainment publication, or high-volume digital publisher. Professional experience writing about football, sports, music, or entertainment. Experience writing for Saudi, Gulf, or MENA audiences. Strong professional Arabic writing ability. Experience publishing through a CMS.
