We are hiring a Regional O2C Lead who will handle (North Africa, Turkey and Europe) for a very well known multinational FMCG company located in New Cairo.
Job Description:
O2C Operations Management Oversee and ensure effective delivery of the following O2C processes: Demand Capture, Billing and Invoicing, Payment Application, Credit Analysis, Claims and Deductions Management, Collections, Reference Data Management and Customer Solutions and Sales Support
2. Service Delivery & Performance Management Monitor and improve key O2C performance indicators such as:Invoice accuracy Demand capture accuracy DSO and collection effectiveness Write-offs and deductions management Reference data accuracy Drive improvements in end-to-end O2C KPIs. Ensure cost-efficient operations and high service quality.
3. Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff. Monitor team performance and conduct regular coaching and development discussions. Build a strong talent pipeline and succession planning for the team.
4. Process Improvement & Change Management Drive process improvement and operational excellence in O2C activities. Work closely with IBS, IT teams, and market stakeholders to enhance processes. Support the implementation of organizational changes and operational transitions. Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.
5. Risk, Compliance & Controls Ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are implemented. Oversee internal and external audits and address findings. Maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensure regular testing.
6. Stakeholder Management Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, banks, customers, and third-party collection agencies. Participate in governance meetings and expert networks.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Overall 8+ years of experience and a 3–5 years of leadership experience managing teams. Strong experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Receivable. Experience in process improvement, project management, or operational transitions. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Experience working with ERP systems. Understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks. Strong expertise in O2C operations and process management. Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ability to lead teams and deliver results in a complex organization. Strong leadership and people development capabilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
