Role Purpose: The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving revenue and profitability from a portfolio of Key/strategic customers. This role focuses on consultative selling, account development, and delivering exceptional customer experience while representing DHL Express Egypt as a trusted logistics partner.
Key Responsibilities:Account Development & Growth / Acquisition:- Always act as an ambassador for DHL and attend to customer needs in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
- Ensure that a high level of professional rapport is developed and maintained with all customers
- Follow up on all customer enquiries and direct customer to the correct DHL department where further information is required
- Manage and develop a specific group of customers with the objective of continuous growth across all products Manage, Maintain and improve the customer’s business profitability
Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain multi-level relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely resolution of service issues through coordination with internal teams.
Market & Competitive Analysis- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Design strategies to defend and grow market share.
Cross-functional Collaboration- Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, and Regional Sales teams.
- Lead initiatives to implement new solutions for strategic accounts.
Qualifications, Experience and CompetenciesEducation & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in B2B sales or account management (preferably in logistics/express industry).
- A proved track in sales performance and achievements.
Skills & Competencies- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- SLNB completion
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strategic planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
