Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description

Job Summary ????


We are looking for a UX Lead to own and elevate the end-to-end user experience across Khazna’s products in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The role leads Product Designers and UX Writers, partners closely with Product and Engineering and ensures we build simple, trusted, and high-quality financial experiences for underserved users.


• Own the UX vision and ensure consistent experience across all domains (Activation, Credit Line, Payments & Card, Retention, KSA EWA).


• Set design standards, principles and quality expectations for mobile app and web experiences.


• Review flows, prototypes and visual decisions to maintain a high-quality user experience.


• Lead, mentor and grow a team of Product Designers and UX Writers.


• Build strong individual development plans and promote continuous learning.


• Partner with Product Managers and Discovery Team to run continuous discovery.


• Turn insights from interviews and testing into clear product opportunities.


• Validate ideas early through prototypes, quick tests, and user feedback.


• Ensure all design deliverables are clear, practical, and aligned with product goals.


• Oversee handoff quality, interactions, microcopy, and localization.


• Support Engineering with clear logic, states, and detailed flow requirements.


• Work collaboratively in the Trio model with PM and TPM to ship product improvements.


• Align design decisions with Data, Growth, Operations and Compliance.


• Represent UX in planning, roadmaps, and leadership discussions.



Qualifications
  • 6+ years experience in UX or Product Design, including 2+ years leading designers.
  • Strong mobile design expertise and a solid portfolio of shipped products.
  • Deep understanding of UX fundamentals, interaction design, and usability.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in fintech or complex consumer products is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern product workflows.
