Job Details

The Logistics Associate is responsible for managing outbound logistics operations, export documentation, shipment coordination, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi customs and international trade regulations. The role supports the timely and cost-effective delivery of finished goods while maintaining high service levels and strong coordination with internal stakeholders, freight forwarders, banks, and government platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan and manage the dispatch of finished goods in coordination with Production and Warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and 3PLs to optimize routing, transit time, and freight costs.
  • Manage outbound shipment bookings through the Web Order system and TMS.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory to ensure availability prior to shipment booking.
  • Prepare and verify export documentation in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with payment terms and banking instruments, including LC, CAD, and Avalized Drafts.
  • Coordinate document legalization and timely dispatch of original shipping documents.
  • Support Finance with telex release processing.
  • Track shipments end to end, monitoring ETD/ETA changes.
  • Issue regular shipment status reports with accurate system updates.
  • Provide proactive shipment updates to Sales and internal stakeholders.
  • Verify logistics invoices against approved quotations.
  • Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with KSA transport regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade requirements.
  • Proactively manage shipment risks, delays, and logistics issues.
  • Handle cargo claims and disputes with carriers.


 


Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain (e.g., CILT, CSCP, or equivalent) are an advantage.3–5 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations, export documentation, and shipment coordination within the KSA market with the ability to independently manage complex shipments and customs cases.Strong hands-on experience with FASAH and SABER platforms, with the ability to independently manage clearance and conformity certification processes.In-depth knowledge of Saudi Customs (ZATCA) regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards.Proven experience dealing with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers within KSA.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex customs and logistics challenges under pressure.Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.Excellent command in English (spoken and written).
