Quantity Surveyor Engineer

The Quantity Surveyor Engineer is responsible for managing all costs related to construction and engineering projects. This includes preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and ensuring projects are completed within approved financial limits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Estimate project costs and prepare cost plans and budgets.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Participate in tendering processes, including cost comparison and evaluation.
  • Monitor project costs and control variations and claims.
  • Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site engineers.
  • Analyze subcontractor quotations and negotiate prices when required.
  • Track project progress and report cost deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and company cost control procedures.
