The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, version control, and compliance with company standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, register, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents.
- Maintain a structured filing and document control system (both digital and hard copy).
- Ensure proper version control for drawings, technical submittals, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, consultants, and clients for document flow.
- Track document status including submissions, approvals, and revisions.
- Prepare transmittals and document reports.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of project documents.
- Archive completed project documents according to company procedures.
- Support audits by providing accurate and organized documentation records.
