- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documents, and records.
- Analyze manufacturing and operational costs and prepare regular reports.
- Perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
- Monitor and control inventory valuation, production costs, and overhead allocation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate cost information.
- Support management in pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
- Prepare cost reports for internal management and external auditors.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, or financial analysis (manufacturing experience preferred).Certifications (Preferred): CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).Understanding of cost accounting standards and financial reporting.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
