- Oversee all accounting operations, including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to support business objectives.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred).Minimum 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and local tax regulations.Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.Strong background in audit processes and internal controls implementation.Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to mentor and develop staff.High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.Previous experience in the agricultural sector or fertilizer & chemicals industry is a must.
