- Accurately process monthly payroll, including fixed and variable pay elements (commissions, bonuses, KPIs, overtime, etc.).
- Validate and calculate performance-based compensation plans in coordination with Sales, HR, and Finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, labor, and social insurance regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records including promotions, transfers, resignations, and terminations.
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports, analytics, and reconciliation.
- Liaise with department managers to collect and verify variable pay data.
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll funding, payment disbursement, and accounting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and explanations.
- Stay up-to-date on payroll legislation, especially regarding performance-related pay structures.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.4–6 years of payroll experience with a minimum of 2 years in a senior-level or variable pay-heavy environment.Proven experience in commission schemes, annual bonus plans, and KPI-based pay structures is essential.Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MenaITech, PaySpace, etc.).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, automation).Familiarity with payroll legislation, taxation, and compliance.Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Discretion and confidentiality.Problem-solving and time management.Ability to work independently and handle pressure.Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, FPC, CIPP).Experience in multi-country payroll (for multinational companies).Previous work in a performance-driven or sales-heavy organization.
