- Coordinate and manage the inbound shipments of raw materials, packaging, and other goods.
• Ensure timely unloading and inspection of goods upon arrival.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by cross-checking against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to track and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure all inbound materials meet company quality standards before storage.
• Update inventory records and ensure correct data entry into ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Maintain communication with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for efficient stock handling.
• Monitor and report on inbound logistics KPIs, including lead time, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during unloading and storage.
• Coordinate returns or rejections of non-conforming goods with suppliers.
Personal Specifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in inbound logistics or warehouse operations.• Skills:• Strong communication and coordination skills.• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office tools.• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.• Familiarity with customs clearance and transportation documentation (if importing).• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
