Senior Onboarding Specialist

  • Manage the full-cycle onboarding process, including preparing and delivering orientation sessions, completing paperwork, and facilitating necessary training.
  • Ensure a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience by providing all necessary information, tools, and resources to new hires.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure new employees are set up for success, including system access, equipment, and introductions to team members.
  • Conduct personalized onboarding sessions that align with company culture, policies, and values.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials, presentations, and documentation that reflect the company’s brand and culture.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new employees are introduced to key departments and have the information they need to get started.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding process and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company-specific requirements related to new hire paperwork and onboarding procedures.
  • Track and report on key onboarding metrics to measure the effectiveness of the program and make data-driven improvements.
  • Support the ongoing development of employee engagement initiatives to help retain and develop new hires.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior onboarding specialists, assisting in their professional growth and development.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in onboarding, HR, or employee experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support employees at all levels.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, etc.).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace).
