Cost Accounting Supervisor

  • Collect and maintain comprehensive cost information and manage expense databases, including:
  • Master data for raw materials and semi-finished goods.
  • Bill of Materials (BoM) creation for finished goods.
  • Monthly comparisons of estimated vs. actual costs.
  • Determination of fixed and variable costs for inventory pricing.
  • Monthly inventory value closing for finished products, raw materials, and work-in-progress items.
  • Construct and maintain data accumulation systems for efficient reporting.
  • Manage and process updates in raw material prices and BoM lists.
  • Analyze and report variances in purchase costs, production processes, sales prices, and waste.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting, must be within the food Industry.Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Solid understanding of production processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles in the food industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
