Role Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations within the group. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of accounting staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, industry-specific financial practices, and advanced technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: Oversee daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Accurate Financial Reporting: Maintain and verify the integrity of financial reports.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations.
- Audit and Consolidated Financial Statements: Prepare consolidated financial statements and manage the audit process, ideally with Big Four experience.
- ERP Utilization: Effectively use ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle to streamline processes.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with IT, sales, and operations to align financial strategies with broader business goals.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.IFRS Diploma is a must.Experience:6+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Experience in the IT sector, conglomerate, or distribution industries is preferred, with a strong understanding of all different financial aspects.Experience in preparing consolidated FS and handling the audit process.
