- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues from internal stakeholders and
customers related to accounting matters. - Responsible for day-end, month-end, and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with the development team to coordinate the resolution of
escalated problems, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving. - Collaborate with other teams like Treasury, Accountant, and Operation
to ensure smooth operations. - Assist in the planning and execution of core banking software upgrades.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles to support end-user self-help and enable efficient troubleshooting.
- Analyze the bank's business processes, operations, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across different departments.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for IT implementation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the designed solutions meet the defined requirements.
- Develop process flows, data models, and other documentation to support the implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
- Monitor and measure the performance of implemented solutions against business objectives.
- Midnight shift for End of day and end of Month process.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field1-2 years of experience in a banking or financial services environmentStrong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirementsProficient in the use of core banking systems and accounting softwareFamiliarity with database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical designs.Familiarity with Agile software development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsGood written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work well in a team and cross-functional environment.
