Job Summary:

The Collections Manager is responsible for managing the collections process using SAP systems to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments, reduce delinquency rates, and maintain healthy cash flow. This role involves leveraging SAP modules to streamline workflows, analyzing financial data, and leading a team to achieve collection targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Collections Process Management:

Oversee the end-to-end collections process using SAP functionalities (e.g., SAP FI/CO, FSCM, or similar modules).

Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely follow-ups with customers through the SAP system.

Implement SAP tools to automate and optimize collection workflows, including dunning procedures and payment reminders.

Handle escalations and negotiate payment plans with customers for overdue accounts.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of collections professionals, ensuring efficient allocation of workloads.

Provide training on SAP tools and best practices for the collections process.

Set performance goals and evaluate team members based on defined KPIs.

Customer Relations:

Build strong relationships with clients to resolve disputes and facilitate payment.

Act as the escalation point for complex cases, balancing customer satisfaction and company interests.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all collection activities.

Use SAP tools to identify and mitigate risks associated with delinquent accounts.
