The Freight Specialist is responsible for business planning framework to arrange the shipments process and should control and monitor the goods from point of origin (Supplier W/H) till point of destination (Company W/H) safely, securely, and on-time with all logistics procedures.
- Dealing with foreign suppliers for shipment operation & prepare purchase reports for each shipment status.
- Review the Performa invoice with the suppliers for the new orders.
- Submit shipping instructions to the main suppliers and sub-suppliers & insuring pick up of CBU business, Trucks, spare parts, Bus manufacture components for production line, Generators, Vehicles accessories, Automotive diagnostic tools, Factory equipment’s & machines orders and shipping them at the right time.
- Reviewing and approving documentations & issuing insurance policy request on oracle before the arrival of the shipments.
- Prepare packing list for CBU & breakdown for each shipment to share with all stake holders and to arrange the current and next month sales via PC reservation system.
- Upload PC packing list via oracle system (OVT organization) to facilitate the PC reservation system for passenger cars sales.
- Follow the issuing of Purchase orders for CBU units (PC, CV, & CE) via oracle system.
- Verify & review all customs clearance documents before delivery to the customs department with the proper release instructions from the sales department.
- Deliver set of documents to insurance department to follow the damage could occur and get compensation amount.
- Handling the inbound shipments (FCL, LCL, Air, RORO vessels and so on).
- Validation, analysis, and reporting shipment statuses to all concerned departments.
- Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.
- Arrange with CBU suppliers the new contracts of new models to present to custom clearance.
- Archive the shipping docs.
- Ensure the arrival of each shipment to the warehouse in the proper manner at the right time.
- Verify and follow shipping documents before the arrival of each shipment.
- Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Analyzing data to assess performance, discover logistical problems and devise plans for improvements.
- Planning and negotiating technical difficulties.
Educational Requirements: bachelor’s degree in Logistics & supply chain or Commerce, or Business Special Certification or Training Required: ERP Skills.Logistics Master degree is a PlusRequired Industry Experience: 2-4 yearsTechnological Requirements: Microsoft Office – Oracle SystemLanguage Requirements: Good English command
