We are looking for a Rooms Divisions Manager who is motivated to join our team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Supports in overseeing the overall flat operations, with direct responsibility for the Rooms Division (housekeeping, concierge).
- Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, guests’ satisfaction, and profitability of the company.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and propose improvements to maximize results.
- Ensure flat operational budgets are managed effectively, with a focus on cost control and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize flat rates, upselling, and yielding based on market trends and demand.
- Guarantee an outstanding guest experience by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Work closely with the General Manager on special projects, events, or strategic initiatives involving the entire hotel.
- Ensure compliance with the brand standards, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as adherence to all local and company policies.
- Take a proactive approach to service innovation, adopting new technologies or systems to enhance guest experiences and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in training and other development programs.
Skills and requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in leadership roles within international hotels, with exposure to rooms departments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing staff and creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and the ability to analyze operational data to make strategic decisions.
- Fluency in English, and preferably another foreign language.
- Ability to quickly adapt to challenges and manage complex or dynamic situations.
- Strong attention to detail with a comprehensive view of hotel operations.
- Proactive attitude in promoting innovation and service excellence.
