Business Process Analyst


Purpose of the Job

The BPA is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and optimizing Coptic Orphan's business processes to ensure their efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives by developing performance metrics, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights that drive decision-making and performance improvement.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities


Process Analysis and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements while facilitating workshops to create detailed process documentation.
  • Document process flows using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0).
  • Collect and analyze process-related data to identify trends and insights by using statistical methods and data analysis tools to support decision-making.


Performance Measurement & Improvement:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for business processes in alignment with the organization's performance framework
  • Identify, and analyze existing business process inefficiencies, and identify areas for improvement using optimization strategies with stakeholders.
  • Communicate process changes and improvements to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of process changes.
  • Analyze & Prioritize improvement project portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain process performance dashboards.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested.


Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business process analysis, process performance analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful process improvement and performance measurement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and data sets with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Office & Visio skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience with Lean and Six Sigma techniques (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.
  • Certification in Business Process management is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in data analysis or performance management is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with process automation tools is an advantage.


Travel and Working requirements

  • Limited to typical office environment such as walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel.
  • Occasional travel, nationally or internationally, is expected.
