Project Manager

  1. Manage a portfolio of complex projects that span one or multiple lines of business.
  2. Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives/project simultaneously.
  3. Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities, provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  4. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  5. Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
  6. Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
  7. Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  8. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders
  9. Ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
  10. Maintain project documentation and ensure that relevant project management systems are maintained up to date.
  11. Continuously debottleneck issues arising with machine reliability or other unforeseen problems with Projects’ specialists and leads to ensure smoother delivery
  12. Coordinate across departments with all relevant stakeholders to ensure mitigation of arising issues
  13. Oversee implementation of all transformation/Projects initiatives (e.g., SOPs, new roles, daily huddles, etc.) to ensure constant and proper implementation
  14. Organize interventions for underperforming departments/branches (in coordination with both leads and Project specialists)
  15. Align with all relevant stakeholders on weekly plan (including setting mitigation plan and priorities for following week).
  16. Implement approved department policies, processes and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  17. Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
  18. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal AAIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain AAIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
  19. Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
