As a Chargeback Analyst, you will provide vital support to our fraud and risk management efforts by effectively analysing, resolving, and directing strategy to detect and prevent chargeback activities. You will proactively contribute to the identification of system improvements, new strategies and technologies related to the chargeback process.
Responsibilities:Review, investigate, and resolve chargeback disputes accurately and in a timely manner while strictly adhering to various payment system requirements as well as domestic and international chargeback rules and regulations;Analyse chargeback issues and reports for a payment solution and its clients;Maintain strong professional knowledge on all internal and network processing system and provide a high standard for chargeback productivity and quality;Provide support to system functionality, chargeback process and dispute lifecycle;Work collaboratively with other teams, e.g, Merchant Risk and Fraud, communicate chargeback irregularities and fraud trends, and share ideas on solutions to minimize fraud and chargeback cases.Skills & Competencies Required:A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, communication or any related discipline;2+ years obligatory experience in chargeback processing within an online payments space;Strong knowledge of Visa/MasterCard rules and procedures;Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCapability and flexibility to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.Who should apply?Sharp and decisive: You make sound data-driven decisions related to chargeback activities based on our business model, various credit card networks and requirements;Analytical and results-oriented: You approach chargeback cases logically and propose appropriate resolutions based on your findings; You tackle each case from start to finish, supporting your actions with evidence and following up when further action is needed;Self-starter: You can organize and manage your work independently even in fast-paced and high-stress environments;Passionate about teamwork: You are able to drive action from other teams and colleagues towards common goals on risk management;Confident and ambitious: You have a growth mindset; you find ways to improve chargeback management on a global scale every day and look for ways you can learn and do more.
