We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities for our glass manufacturing operations. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchases to support production. You will collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain while maintaining high-quality standards.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Knowledge of raw materials used in glass production and their sourcing.Proficiency with ERP or purchasing management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Analytical and problem-solving abilities for cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.
