Main Responsibilities: Is to manage the daily accounting activity through the following tasks:
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Ensures the accounting of all the entries of the company.
- Performs the declarative (VAT, etc.).
- Submit the obligatory reports and declarations to the tax authorities (VAT, WHT, GAFI, Transfer pricing filling …etc.).
- Makes monthly, quarterly, semi-annual closings.
- Reassembles the P & L and the balance sheet in the consolidation software (HFM) during fences.
- Documents financial transactions.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Follows up internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, requesting disbursements and, if required, submitting on bank portal.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Prepare Intercompany reconciliations and resolve any disconnects if any;
- Prepare Cash Flow forecasting (in coordination with the Finance Manager).
- Participation in budget preparation and its financial information (in coordination with the Finance Manager).
- Prepare the required analysis for taxes inspections, provide the needed supporting and clarifications.
B.Sc. Degree; 3-5 Years of Experience on a similar role; Previous work in similar industry is desirable; Very good knowledge in Taxes and banking accounting & treasury; Good knowledge of basic company tax reporting / filing; Certificates in Accounting (IFRS or other) is desirable; Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is a must, Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; IFS – HFM ERP user or other like SAP or Oracle; Fluent in English.
