Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior AWS DevOps Team Lead at SlashTEC. The person in this role will lead a DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructures that support OTT, VAS, and cloud hosting solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, infrastructure-as-code deployments, monitoring and logging solutions, and system reliability improvements. The Senior AWS DevOps Team Lead will collaborate with software development teams, solution architects, and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud environments. The role also involves mentoring team members, defining best practices, participating in technical reviews, and driving continuous improvement across DevOps processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Proven experience leading a DevOps/Cloud engineering team.
- Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization, including Docker and preferably Amazon EKS.
- Experience with AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, security groups, IAM, Route 53, Load Balancers, and connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, security, roles, policies, and best practices.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECR, IAM, VPC, and Route 53.
- Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Strong scripting/automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS environments.

- Ability to distribute tasks, manage priorities, and follow up on team deliverables.
- Experience conducting technical reviews and providing guidance on architecture and implementation.

- Experience establishing and improving DevOps standards, processes, and best practices.
