We are currently seeking a technically proficient Senior Scaffolding & Formwork Engineer to join our construction team. This role will focus on the safe and efficient design, coordination, and execution of formwork and scaffolding systems for high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities:Design and review temporary works including formwork, falsework, and scaffolding systems. Prepare technical drawings, material lists, static calculations, and shop drawings based on structural inputs. Develop safe installation and dismantling sequences for formwork and scaffolding. Coordinate with structural engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and procurement teams. Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot design or erection issues. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards. Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction teams. Support tendering with technical offers, system comparisons, and value engineering options. Supervise junior engineers and ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery of shop drawings. Provide technical guidance during execution and ensure alignment with latest IFC drawings. Track and analyze formwork material cycles and utilization on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.5-7 years of experience in formwork/scaffolding engineering, preferably with contractors. Strong knowledge of temporary works design, concrete behavior, and load analysis. Experience leading technical teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Strong documentation and calculation abilities for method statements and compliance reviews. Site supervision experience including inspection, safety coordination, and issue resolution. Good command of English and Arabic (written and spoken). Scaffolding Competent Person/Inspector Certification is a plus.
