We are seeking an experienced Electrical Section Head to lead and oversee the electrical engineering and BIM activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical design and BIM coordination, with proven experience leading teams, managing deliverables, and ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements. Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering & BIM team across projects. Oversee electrical design and BIM activities including Power, Lighting, Low Current, and Fire Alarm systems. Develop, review, and coordinate Revit MEP Electrical models to ensure accuracy and quality. Lead and manage clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks. Review and approve electrical shop drawings, BIM deliverables, and as-built models. Ensure compliance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans, and applicable electrical codes and standards. Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, and other disciplines to resolve technical and coordination issues. Provide technical guidance and support to Senior and Junior Electrical BIM Engineers. Monitor team performance, workload, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time. Review project progress and identify technical risks, design issues, and coordination challenges. Ensure proper implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and documentation within the electrical section. Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders when required. Support resource planning, task allocation, and technical development of the electrical team. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.7-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Design, and BIM. Strong hands-on experience in Electrical BIM Coordination — not management-only experience. Expert-level knowledge of Revit MEP (Electrical) and Navisworks. Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Strong knowledge of electrical systems including Power, Lighting, Low Current, and Fire Alarm. Good knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, and NFPA. Proven experience leading an Electrical Engineering/BIM team or working as an Electrical Section Head / Senior Electrical BIM Coordinator / BIM Lead. Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
