Role Description The Robotics Instructor role at Armstrong is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The instructor will design and deliver robotics lessons and workshops aligned with Armstrong’s STEM curriculum for various age groups. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, setting up and maintaining robotics kits and equipment, teaching programming and robotics concepts, and guiding students through practical projects and challenges. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting instructional methods to different learning styles. The Robotics Instructor will also collaborate with other educators to improve course content, support STEM initiatives, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Robotics and hands-on experience with educational robotics kits or platforms. Solid understanding of STEM concepts and ability to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into lessons. Proficiency in Programming relevant to educational robotics (e.g., block-based coding, Python, or similar languages). Demonstrated Training and instructional skills, including curriculum delivery and classroom management. Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different age groups. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with children or teens in an educational or workshop setting is highly beneficial. Ability to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
