Role Description The Senior Planning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for leading project planning and scheduling activities for construction projects. This role develops and maintains detailed project schedules, including resource and cost loading, using CPM and other planning tools to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The Senior Planning Engineer collaborates with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to analyze progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Daily responsibilities include preparing progress reports, monitoring project performance, supporting claims and delay analysis, and contributing to project control procedures. The role also involves mentoring junior planners, enhancing planning standards, and ensuring clear communication of schedule impacts to internal and external parties. Qualificationsfluent English C1 Prefer graduate AUC GUC BUECandidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills for construction or engineering projects. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret project data, evaluate risks, and support decision-making. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present schedule information clearly. Candidates should possess solid Project Control experience, including progress monitoring, reporting, and variance analysis. Relevant experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar project management role within construction or engineering. Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project) and MS Office tools. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in planning or project management are an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Giza, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
