Job Details

  • Own the budget, present consolidated budget data to the Finance Director for review.

  • Monitor the development of the budgeting process, revenue planning, cost planning, and capital allocation processes.

  • Project future financial needs. Analyze actual results to budgets and forecasts, submitting budget reports to the Finance Director for further scrutiny and approval in accordance with the approved policy.

  • Monitor and prepare detailed reports regarding discrepancies and amendments that occurred in the budget throughout the financial year and submit to the Finance Director.

  • Issue the budgeting cycle calendar, hold an annual session for budgeting template orientation to improve the current budgeting and forecasting processes. Announce the start of the yearly business plan and ensure they are in line with approved planning process.

  • Review on quarterly basis the business and financial plans, report deviations from initial plan to the finance director with appropriate recommendation to overcome discrepancies. Ensure the accuracy of issued financial reports and the timely issuance of spread budgets on quarterly basis to guarantee the alignment of accounting books with annual budget.

  • Recommend and implement a system for financial reporting. Ensure timely delivery and quality of information and conformance with the company’s policies and procedures and the financial standards. Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial reports to finance manager.

  • Consolidate and present to the finance director periodic reports regarding the overall finance and accounting status, profitability, growth results, cash flow, banks’ status etc. for the overall business and the business lines on quarterly basis outlining achievements versus plan, challenges and suggestions for improvement.

  • Review and evaluate the complete profitability analysis done by the FP&B team.

  • Conduct performance appraisal sessions with the subordinates and ensure that the performance evaluation process is carried out on time and in an efficient and objective manner

  • Set the development plans and training needs for the immediate subordinates and follow up on the execution of the allocated training/program and evaluate its success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. •

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. •

  • Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry is an advantage. • Proven track record in developing and managing financial models, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

  • Proficiency in financial planning software, financial modeling tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and budgeting methodologies.
