Role Description The Senior Planning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in El Sherouk. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and aligning timelines with resource plans and production targets. The Senior Planning Engineer will monitor progress, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Daily responsibilities include preparing planning reports and dashboards, supporting project control activities, and communicating updates to stakeholders. The role also requires collaborating with technical and commercial teams to ensure plans are realistic, compliant with company standards, and aligned with overall project objectives.
Qualifications
Strong planning and production planning skills, with experience creating and updating detailed project schedules. Advanced analytical skills to interpret project data, identify risks, and propose data-driven solutions. Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting planning reports. Experience in project control, including monitoring progress, tracking KPIs, and reporting deviations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; experience in real estate development or construction is preferred. Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and MS Office tools. Ability to work on-site in El Sherouk, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
