Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator role based in Giza. The System Administrator will manage and maintain servers, networks, and core IT infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, applying updates and patches, and managing user accounts and permissions. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing timely technical support to internal teams, and coordinating with developers and other stakeholders to support project deployments. The System Administrator will also help implement security best practices, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes. Qualifications Strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology to manage servers, operating systems, and core infrastructure. Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues. Experience with Network Administration, including configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Knowledge of system security practices, backup and recovery strategies, and monitoring tools. Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments and common virtualization or cloud platforms. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., Comp TIA Network+, Comp TIA Security+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
