Key Responsibilities Supervise daily mechanical works on-site (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and related MEP systems) in line with approved shop drawings. Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and labor teams to ensure smooth execution of installation activities. Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before execution. Monitor progress against the project schedule and report delays or risks to the Project Manager. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards (HSE) on-site. Conduct site inspections, prepare inspection requests (IRs), and coordinate with consultants/clients for approvals. Track material deliveries, quantities, and wastage; assist with quantity take-offs when required. Resolve technical site issues and coordinate with the design/engineering team for clarifications or drawing revisions. Maintain daily site reports, progress photos, and documentation. Support testing, commissioning, and snagging/de-snagging activities prior to handover.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 7 years of experience as a Site/Field Mechanical Engineer, preferably within finishing, fit-out, or interior contracting companies. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems installation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical shop drawings and specifications. Familiarity with Auto CAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM coordination is a plus. Solid understanding of site safety practices and quality control procedures. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work under tight project deadlines. Valid driving license [and willingness to relocate/travel between sites, if applicable].
