Role Description The Senior Pharmacist at صيدليات دوس - Doss Pharmacies is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. The Senior Pharmacist oversees daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications accurately, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, as well as providing clear guidance to improve treatment adherence and health outcomes. The role involves supervising and mentoring pharmacy staff, organizing work schedules, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment. The Senior Pharmacist also manages inventory, monitors stock levels, coordinates with suppliers, and supports quality assurance initiatives, reporting, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacology, and safe medication dispensing. Strong skills in patient counseling, communication, and customer service within a community pharmacy setting. Proven ability to supervise and train pharmacy team members, delegate tasks, and maintain orderly workflow. Experience with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing, and basic computer literacy. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or Pharm D) from an accredited institution; advanced certifications are an advantage. Valid pharmacist license and registration in accordance with local regulatory requirements. Willingness to work on-site in New Cairo, with flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
