A leading organization is looking for an experienced BIM Mechanical Engineer to join its Technical Office / BIM Department and support the development and coordination of mechanical BIM models across active construction projects.

This is a key technical role for someone experienced in mechanical BIM modeling, MEP coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and applying the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

You will play a key role in translating mechanical design intent into a coordinated, construction-ready BIM environment, ensuring accurate modeling, effective multidisciplinary coordination, and high-quality technical deliverables.

* Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP.* Model HVAC, chilled water/piping, and plumbing/drainage systems where applicable.* Produce accurate mechanical shop drawings and technical documentation.* Coordinate ductwork, piping routes, equipment, and plant room layouts.* Lead mechanical clash detection using Navisworks.* Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical BIM teams.* Review and validate BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with project standards.* Prepare and respond to RFIs related to mechanical BIM deliverables.* Support technical submissions, equipment schedules, and coordination reports.* Apply the Saudi Building Code (SBC) to mechanical modeling and coordination.* Coordinate with site teams to ensure BIM deliverables align with installation and site conditions.* Conduct quality control checks before model and drawing issuance.

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.* 6–15 years of total experience in construction.* Minimum 4 years of hands-on professional BIM experience.* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience applying the Saudi Building Code (SBC).* Expert-level Autodesk Revit MEP – Mechanical.* Strong working knowledge of Auto CAD and Navisworks.* Strong BIM Coordination and Shop Drawing production skills.* Practical knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).* Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
