• Conduct internal audits across gold manufacturing, production, inventory, and accounting processes.

• Audit the complete gold cycle from gold issuance through production to finished products.

• Reconcile gold movement, weight, purity, fine gold, production output, and accounting records.

• Analyze and monitor production losses, yield, recovery, scrap, rework, remelting, and technical losses.

• Investigate unusual or unexplained gold losses and production variances and identify their root causes.

• Review WIP, finished goods, and gold inventory and perform physical stocktaking and reconciliation.

• Identify internal control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, financial losses, and potential risks.

• Analyze data to identify unusual transactions, significant variances, and areas of potential risk.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and operational procedures.

• Prepare clear, concise, and professional Internal Audit Reports covering findings, root causes, risks, and recommendations.

• Provide practical and value-added recommendations to improve processes, strengthen controls, reduce losses, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Follow up on audit findings and corrective actions to ensure proper implementation.

• Perform audit assignments accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines without compromising audit quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit / Accounting / Manufacturing Controls.

• Proven experience in Gold, Jewelry or Precious Metals Manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Gold & Precious Metals Accounting and Metal Accounting.

• Hands-on experience in Gold Reconciliation, Fine Gold, Weight & Purity calculations.

• Strong understanding of Production Loss, Yield & Recovery.

• Ability to identify, analyze and investigate unusual or unexplained gold losses.

• Good understanding of Gold Manufacturing Processes and Technical Operations.

• Experience auditing Work Orders / Production Orders from gold issuance through finished product.

• Strong knowledge of WIP, Scrap, Rework, Remelting and Production Waste.

• Experience in Physical Gold Stocktaking & Inventory Reconciliation.

• Strong Excel & Data Analysis skills; ERP / Power BI experience is a plus.
