We're Hiring | Internal Legal Counsel We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Internal Legal Counsel to join our team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with strong commercial and corporate law experience who can provide strategic legal support while partnering with business stakeholders to protect the organization's interests and enable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to business divisions on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on complex commercial agreements, including supply, service, distribution, and other business contracts. Lead and support legal matters related to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructuring, disposals, and other strategic transactions. Review corporate policies, legal documents, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Identify and mitigate legal risks while delivering practical, business-oriented legal solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, corporate governance, and other strategic legal initiatives. Support contract negotiations and provide legal guidance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Law (LL. B.); postgraduate legal qualifications are an advantage.6–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate and commercial law, preferably within a multinational or large corporate environment. Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Strong knowledge of M&A transactions, corporate governance, and compliance. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
