We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to work remotely on Odoo ERP implementation, customization and integration projects for our customers.

The developer will work closely with our Functional Consultant / Implementation Lead to translate business requirements into reliable and maintainable Odoo solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Odoo modules based on approved business requirements.

• Customize existing Odoo workflows, forms, reports and business logic.

• Develop integrations between Odoo and external systems using APIs.

• Develop and maintain REST API integrations and third-party connectors.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo application and database issues.

• Support data migration between legacy systems and Odoo.

• Develop custom reports and dashboards when required.

• Work with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries when necessary.

• Support Odoo Enterprise and Community environments.

• Assist with Odoo upgrades and migrations.

• Use Git for source-code management and version control.

• Support testing, UAT, deployment and production go-live.

• Follow Odoo development standards and maintain clean, documented and maintainable code.

• Work closely with functional consultants to avoid unnecessary customization when standard Odoo functionality can meet the requirement.

This is a remote freelance/project-based position with the possibility of ongoing projects and long-term collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional Odoo development experience.

• Strong Python development skills.

• Strong knowledge of the Odoo framework and ORM.

• Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules.

• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge.

• Experience with XML, QWeb and Odoo reporting.

• Knowledge of JavaScript and OWL for Odoo frontend development.

• Strong experience with REST APIs and third-party system integrations.

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise and Community editions.

• Experience with Git/GitHub or similar source-control platforms.

• Experience with Linux-based Odoo environments.

• Knowledge of Odoo.sh, Docker and on-premise deployment is an advantage.

• Experience with Odoo upgrades and database migrations is an advantage.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with functional consultants and project teams.
