Job Title: Quality Control Manager Job Description:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of proven experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with extensive expertise in residential construction projects, including high-end compounds, villas, and apartment buildings. The candidate must possess relevant professional certifications in Quality Management and construction quality systems. Responsibilities:· Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with company standards and project requirements.· Lead and supervise all Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.· Ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, applicable codes, and international standards.· Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, quality procedures, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.· Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements.· Monitor civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works to ensure high-quality workmanship.· Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of quality issues, defects, and non-conformities.· Prepare, review, and approve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and Preventive Action Plans.· Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, Site Engineers, and Subcontractors on all quality-related matters.· Review and approve material submittals, material inspections, and supplier quality documentation. Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.· 10–15 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within construction projects, with significant experience in residential developments (compounds, villas, and residential towers).· Strong knowledge of construction materials, international quality standards, inspection procedures, and finishing requirements.· Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, quality reports, and quality documentation.· Proven experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).· Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quality activities simultaneously.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems. Required Certifications:· ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems – Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certificate.· Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or an equivalent internationally recognized certification.· OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).· PMP (Project Management Professional) is an advantage.
