Role Purpose:Design the logical and physical data blueprints across the DWH platform, ensuring data models scale fluidly from raw transactional data to semantic analytical layers.
Responsible For: Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modeling Standards, Solution Architecture Alignment
Requirements (Qualification & Skills):
Years of Experience: 8+ years of dedicated experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Database Design. Education: B. Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Certifications in TOGAF or specific Data Modeling frameworks (for instance Kimball/Inmon) are a major plus. Advanced data modeling skills (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, Dimensional, Data Vault 2.0). Mastery of Teradata enterprise data models and Cloudera schema-on-read design is highly preferred. Deep understanding of retail banking data domains (Accounts, Transactions, Loans, Parties, Cards, KYC). Strong understanding of lambda/kappa architectures, data warehousing vs. lakehouse paradigms, and security/access control frameworks inside bare-metal networks. Exceptional abstract thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to dictate technical standards to software development and engineering teams. Extensive experience with relational database optimization (indexing, partitioning, distribution keys) preferably in Teradata, and mapping complex banking schemas. Preferred: Experience designing hybrid architectures that span on-premise relational systems and distributed file systems (HDFS/Object Storage).
