Job Details

  • Lead and oversee the Accounts Receivable & Banking functions, ensuring accurate and timely transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • Monitor customer receivables, aging, collections, credit limits, and overdue balances to maintain healthy cash flow and improve DSO.

  • Oversee daily banking activities, including bank reconciliations, cash application, bank balances, and unidentified/unallocated receipts.

  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between AR sub-ledger, bank accounts, and General Ledger and resolve discrepancies promptly.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Treasury, and other departments to resolve customer disputes and collection issues.

  • Lead month-end closing activities and prepare AR & Banking reports and analysis for management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the AR & Banking team, ensuring achievement of operational KPIs.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and strengthening internal controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Banking, Collections, or related accounting functions, including supervisory/team-lead experience.

  • IFRS, FMVA, CTP, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

    • Accounts Receivable

    • Collections & Credit Control

    • Customer Reconciliations

    • Bank Reconciliations

    • Cash Application

    • Banking Operations

    • Month-End Closing

  • Strong understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.

  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, distribution, construction, building materials, or other high-volume businesses is a must.

  • Strong ERP experience; SAP is highly preferred.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
