Role Description The Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the organization’s security posture across physical, operational, and information domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing risks, developing and implementing security policies, supervising security personnel, and coordinating incident response and investigations. The role involves monitoring facilities and critical assets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal standards, and preparing reports and briefings for leadership. The Security Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies, manage security training and awareness programs, and continuously improve security processes and technologies to protect people, information, and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Security and Security Management, including risk assessment, access control, and incident handling. Candidates should possess solid Information Security and Cybersecurity skills to safeguard data, systems, and digital assets. Candidates should possess Network Security skills to design, monitor, and maintain secure network environments. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or critical infrastructure security, preferably within Egyptian Police forces or similar organizations. Knowledge of relevant security regulations, investigative procedures, and emergency response protocols. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Effective communication and leadership skills, including experience supervising teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) and a degree in security studies, criminal justice, information technology, or a related field are beneficial.
