Role Description This is a full-time Sales Manager role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work from home. The Sales Manager will oversee sales activities across EGAVET’s livestock sectors, including poultry, aquatic species, ruminants, and aquaculture. Daily responsibilities include managing and coaching the sales team, setting and tracking sales targets, and developing sales plans aligned with business objectives. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key customers and distributors, conducting regular field visits, and identifying new business opportunities. The Sales Manager will analyze market trends, prepare sales forecasts and reports, collaborate with marketing and operations, and ensure high standards of customer service and ethical business practices. Qualifications Proven experience in sales management, preferably within livestock, animal health, agribusiness, or related sectors. Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching to achieve sales targets. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for decision-making. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders. Solid understanding of the livestock industry (poultry, ruminants, aquaculture) and relevant market dynamics. Comfort with hybrid work, including field visits, in-person meetings in Cairo, and remote coordination. Proficiency in standard business software and CRM tools for planning, reporting, and customer management. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
