Job Summary The Operational Technology (OT) Specialist is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing industrial automation and Operational Technology (OT) systems across manufacturing facilities. The role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of automation systems, industrial networks, and data infrastructure while supporting digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Operational Technology (OT) systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems. Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency. Support the implementation and maintenance of industrial communication networks (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus, etc.). Manage and maintain industrial servers, EDGE devices, and data acquisition systems. Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance. Assist in automation upgrades, system migrations, and digital transformation projects. Configure and maintain industrial software, including SCADA, MES, and HMI applications. Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity policies and industry standards. Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks for automation equipment. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation-related failures. Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, system configurations, and operating procedures. Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.3–6 years of experience in Operational Technology, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering. Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, or Manufacturing industries is preferred. Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems and control technologies.
