• Responsible of preparing detailed shop drawings  for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting).

• Conduct design review for drawings & calculation for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting).

• Responsible & capable to deliver design package for a project if required.

• Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration.

• Update drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, or coordination meetings.

• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and ensuring compliance with approved redlines and site modifications.

• Follow up on drawing submittals, approvals, and maintain logs of revisions and submissions.

• Ensure that all mechanical drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Review the material submittals and purchasing orders for mechanical system.

• Work closely with the procurement and site execution teams to reflect accurate and practical installation details.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

• 10-15 years of experience in mechanical design and/or shop drawing preparation in contracting or engineering firms, Strong design background is an advantage.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit; knowledge of Navisworks is a plus.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) and related international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, SBC, IBC, …etc).

• Attention to detail and capable to deliver accurate drawings/documentations.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
