He handles the daily physical workload of picking orders, replenishing high-reach racks, and moving stock to where it is needed most. He regularly operates forklifts and electric transpallets to move large quantities of stock safely through the aisles and loading bays. He takes charge of the physical loading of outgoing logistics trucks and the offloading of incoming shipments, ensuring everything is stacked securely and counted correctly. He ensures that every order picked or pallet moved matches the system requirements, reducing the need for double-checking or corrections. He sets a high standard for safety by following all warehouse rules, keeping aisles clear, and ensuring tools and equipment are used properly and stored safely.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience and valid certification in operating Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks.
- 3+ years of experience working in a heavy Ops warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Capable of handling the physical demands of a 100% "on-the-floor" role, including lifting, bending, and loading heavy goods.
- Basic experience using handheld and systems to track and manage inbound, outbound and logistics.
