Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role involves identifying prospective clients, presenting suitable insurance products, and providing clear explanations of policy features, benefits, and terms. The Insurance Sales Specialist will follow up on leads, prepare quotations, and support customers through the application, underwriting, and post-sales processes. Daily responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, responding to inquiries, handling basic claims-related guidance, and coordinating with internal teams and brokers to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also includes meeting sales targets, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and staying current on Met Life products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and general Insurance knowledge to effectively match products to customer needs and achieve sales objectives. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and provide ongoing support to policyholders. Candidates should possess capabilities in Insurance Brokerage and Health Insurance to navigate multiple product offerings and advise on suitable coverage options. Candidates should possess effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, accessible manner. Candidates should possess basic financial literacy and analytical skills to assess client needs and tailor insurance and retirement solutions appropriately. Candidates should possess proficiency in using CRM and office software tools, and demonstrate strong organizational and time-management abilities. Candidates should possess a track record of working in sales, financial services, or insurance environments; previous experience in life or health insurance is an advantage. Candidates should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
