Job description

Ensuring a positive dining experience, handling complaints, and maintaining high service standards.
Keeping customers happy, getting their feedback on the experience and handling complaints.
Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste.
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
Ensure that the restaurant is stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, including promotions, special events, and menu updates.
Maintaining safety and food quality standards.
Coaching staff, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting team growth and productivity.
Recruiting, interviewing and training staff to follow restaurant procedures.
Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees’ hours and recording payroll data.
Appraising staff performance and disciplining or retraining employees to correct poor performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality; food service management in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Additional information

• Experience is an asset.
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
• Fluency in English.
• Additional languages are a plus.
